Terms and Conditions for the Threefold Cord Academy 5km Run and Fun Day

1. Event Overview
The Threefold Cord Academy 5km Run and Fun Day will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 08:00 to 12:00 at 118 Lavender Crescent, Fairbridge Heights, Kariega. The event includes a 5km run, fun activities, and entertainment for all ages.

2. Registration and Payment
All participants must register and complete payment prior or on  the event. Registration/Participation fees are non-refundable. By registering, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

3. Non-Refundable Policy
Once payment has been made, no refunds will be issued in cases of event cancellation, participant withdrawal, or failure to attend. This policy applies under all circumstances, including illness, injury, or any other reason for non-participation.

4. Participant Safety and Responsibility
All participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and well-being. By participating, you acknowledge that physical activities, including the 5km run, involve risks. Threefold Cord Academy and event organizers are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or other incidents occurring during the event. It is advised that participants consult their physician if they have any health concerns before participating.

5. Age and Supervision
Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children during the event.

6. Event Cancellation
In the case of severe weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances that require cancellation, Threefold Cord Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event. The non-refundable policy remains in effect under all circumstances.

7. Media Release
By attending the event, participants consent to being photographed and/or filmed, and grant Threefold Cord Academy the right to use any such media for promotional purposes.

8. Liability Waiver
By participating in this event, you agree to release and hold harmless Threefold Cord Academy, its staff, volunteers, and event partners from any liability, claims, or actions arising from participation in the event.

9. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the 5km Run and Fun Day, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
